Welcome to Lodbourne Farmhouse

Paul and Francesca King purchased the house in November 2015. Paul had previously been the care taker of the house under its former ownership besides running his own property refurbishment business. He is also a great cook! Francesca is a registered nurse with a background of a variety of organizational and hosting skills.

The house had undergone some serious alterations in its former use and was in need of some sympathetic restoration.

We decided that the house needed a new purpose and after 3 years of hard work we have made it suitable to offer Bed & Breakfast. It is in an ideal location in the town of Gillingham. Walking distance and close to shops, restaurants, a train station and only 3 miles from the main A303 trunk road.

Available between 8.00am and 9.00am but If you require earlier then please request. We aim to please!

Served in our very large farmhouse style kitchen diner. We offer a wholesome continental breakfast with a range of locally sourced produce. Cooked breakfast available on request if pre-booked.

Special diets can be catered for if prior notice is given. We can also deliver breakfast to your room on a tray at a requested time slot if you would prefer.

Advance bookings must be secured by card payment or bank transfer

7 day cancellation policy applies if effected before the intended arrival date.

For cancellations less than 7 days the return payment will be subject to our being able to re-let the room.

Full payment must be made on check in and completion of a guest registration form.

We are strictly a no smoking house and have very sensitive smoke detectors in every room.

Late arrivals (after 6pm). Please let us know if you are going to arrive late.

Check in/check out times. Normal check in time is 4.00pm and check out time is 10.00 am
